Jadwiga Husarska‑Sobina took the stage for an interview reflecting on the evolution of Polish design over the past decade, while ReHemptation by Husarska invited visitors to explore its sustainable furniture collection at the stand. The event gathered designers, architects, and industry leaders to witness how creativity, innovation, and responsibility shape the future of furniture and interiors.
Jadwiga shared insights from her journey, from early inspiration in her family and childhood to over 250 market-ready projects spanning furniture, innovative materials, and collaborations with brands such as IKEA and Nowy Styl. She emphasized long-term thinking, material intelligence, and design with impact, showing how sustainable solutions can coexist with performance and aesthetics. At the stand, visitors engaged with the Hemp Solo table, modular HempStools and LinStools, and the flat-pack, zero-waste coffee table HempBean, experiencing firsthand ReHemptation’s sustainable approach in each design. The combination of interview and exhibition created a space for dialogue about materials, processes, and design’s role in shaping responsible interiors.
Returning to 4 Design Days each year, Husarska Design Studio values the exchange these events enable. Conversations with peers, students, and visitors reveal that design is as much about ideas, experimentation, and impact as it is about objects.
The interview and the stand together reaffirm the studio’s belief that sustainable innovation thrives on curiosity, shared knowledge, and bold experimentation. Experiencing the designs in person while hearing the thinking behind them shows how furniture, materials, and creativity converge, shaping a future of design defined by intelligence, elegance, and responsibility.
